Just want to thank you for this ‘tip’ I’ve always tried to figure out the right elbow knowing it must be ‘tucked’ but didn’t always work.. You’re analogy of a ‘Race’ to beat the hands was perfect. Went to the range and worked on it and results were impressive..Not sure how much more distance i got but my contact was solid and the dispersion much tighter with a really nice ‘mini draw. with the irons. Metals resulted in a gentle fade at the end ( I’ve always been a ‘draw’ hitter and wanted to incorporate a slight fade). Thanks again ‘Doc’…My regards to San Diego..have a ‘fish taco’ on me…
John is an incredible golf instructor! I had such a great lesson with him–he’s not only knowledgeable but also super encouraging and easy to work with. He broke things down in a way that made sense, and I saw immediate improvements in my swing and confidence.

I’ve always been self-taught and gave up the game up for a long time took it back up a couple of years ago. I was able to get my swing back for the most part but then I started to really struggle. I never had a formal lesson in my life until I met John. His knowledge and experience with the golf swing has helped me tremendously to where in a short period of time he had me hitting the ball a lot better than ever. He will definitely get me to where I would like to be as far as the level of my game I’m trying to achieve. He is definitely the teacher that can get that done 100%. I have referred a couple of other gentlemen both at totally different levels of their game and he has helped them as well. If you’re looking for a truly professional teacher look no further John Marshall. He IS the man.

Hi John. When I came to you for an initial lesson last week I was ready to throw in the towel. I had lost an incredible amount of distance and the accuracy portion of the equation wasn’t much better. Short and crooked is not a fun way to play golf. Within minutes you showed me how to stabilize the clubface from set-up to follow through which had me hitting it exactly where I was aiming. Then you explained how power is created through rotation and not lateral motion. Not only was I hitting some of the longest shots of my life but the swing seemed so effortless and easy on my body. All of a sudden I’m excited about playing golf again. Can’t wait for or next session to keep taking my game to the next level. Thanks SO much.
